I really couldn’t consider myself an active blogger in the world of online and technology happenings without providing a quick blurb on my wait outside the Shops at Willow Bend in Plano, TX.
I pulled up into the parking lot this morning at 6:40AM (which is about the time I normally get to work) and quickly found one of those mall hallway employee entrance doors that was ajar. Once entering the mall, I was a bit disappointed to find out that I’d be the second in line this morning. Still, this is fun and what technology innovation is all about. Back in my day at Microsoft, they used to wrap the buildings waiting for Windows releases. Times have changed and the technology has gotten a lot BETTER!
As I look down the line, which is now 6 deep, I am having recollections of scenes from The Breakfast Club–each one of us in line is definitely individualistic and different from the other.
NEWS FLASH – An employee from the store just informed us through the window that they have 1 8GB unit left and the woman in front of me is buying a 16GB!!! YES!!!
I’ll post about this new device in a day or two once I play with it a little bit.
